After a long, hectic weekend, the hubby and I are back to work/school. Blech! But at least Easter is approaching and we will be with our family all that weekend!

What a little sweetheart ♥

One of Kadynn's favorite things has always been the outdoors. It's so sweet watching her walk over to the window and bang on it. She always wants to be outside with the birdies, grass, trees, sky and animals. She is so occupied just sitting on our 'Picnic Blankie' looking at everything around her. It is the sweetest thing ever! I just love her to death :)

The weather was absolutely beautiful today, so we decided to head outside and do some coloring, play with the doggies and go for a nice, long walk!

Blog Party! :)

Hi everyone! My name is Taylor. I am a mother to an adorable *almost* one year old and girlfriend to my other half. I love them more than life itself! :) I have an obsession with photography and Starbucks. I've lived in Pennsylvania all my life but I want to move to Miami, Florida or San Diego, California where the shopping is much better ;) and the weather is nice year round. I hate the cold, like a lot! I love to spend time with my family, scrapbook, travel, work with computers, take lots and lots of pictures, lay out in the summer, take long walks, run, shop, create things, cook, bake, . I would love to be a stay at home mom (so soon! :)), run more often, plant a garden (& grow my own veggies and fruits), get better at photography, own our own home, have another bebe, then another one, take our daughter to Disneyworld next year, go to Hawaii, get another doggy, run a marathon, learn to make dresses for my little bambina, be more energetic, live a little more, save more money, get married, have 100 pairs of shoes and spend the rest of my life with the ones I love <3  I am super obsessed with things being in the right order and in the right places. I cannot live without my planner, it's my second baby. I love love love to watch TV! My fav channels are The Food Network, HGTV, E!, Bravo, Comedy Central, HBO, Showtime and Nick Jr. ;) My boyfriend and I are obsessed with Standup comedy. Our fav standup comedian is Katt Williams, we LOVE him! But anyways enough about me, let's talk about the most beautiful baby to grace this planet! 


Kadynn Amerie, my sweet angel, born April 20, 2010. She was 7 lbs. 3.8 oz of pure beauty. I have never been so in love with someone in my ENTIRE life. She is so funny, loving, amazing, smart, energetic, beautiful, happy, fiesty and perfect. Now onto the pictures!

Now onto my best friend, my other half, my high school sweetheart, my prince charming...Matthew (or as I call him, Pistol Pete, from our fav movie, I Love You Man)

Okay so I know this is a horrible picture, but he hates getting his picture taken and I have like 2 pictures of him out of the nearly 4 years we've been together! Pathetic, I know. Plus it describes him very well because this is his favorite thing to do, haha! But still he is so great at everything he does. He follows his dreams and is extremely dedicated to anything he believes in. He is an amazing father, boyfriend and best friend and I couldn't ask for anyone better. I love you hunny!

Not a very good day in our house :(

We had a tragic event in our family today, my uncle Craig passed unexpectedly and we're just all trying to deal with the shock of it. It might take me a while to catch up on posts. Until then, please send your prayers to my family.

On our way to D.C. @ 2:00A.M. we got SO lost and did 3 circles to try and get back to where we were, it was horrible. The signs we're the most confusing I have ever seen, but my great navigator got us back on track and we finally got there @ 4, taking us from an estimated drive time of 1 hr. 51 mins. to 3 hrs. 43 mins. But I guess good things do come out of bad sitations..now we know the MD/VA like the back of our hand and we will know exactly how to get down to the next conference in July :)

Matthew has a business conference in D.C. so this will be our first night away from Kada. I'm probably going to cry knowing she won't be with us for an entire night and the following day, but I know that she'll have lots of fun with Nini, Grampy, Grammy and Pop Pop. Wish me luck :( my phone and Starbucks will be my temporary babies while we're down there!

The Finished Product!

So I have a habit of dreaming things up in my head, but when I try to create them I can never get it just how I want it. Well this is an exception :) I wanted something simple because Kada's party is going to be pretty extravagant so I finally came up with this! I drew it up and my wonderful daddy created it on Illustrator for me! He's so amazing at all things design. The only thing missing is the party details and that is still a work in progress :/

Spinach and Artichoke dip!

The yummiest appetizer I have ever had! 

My mom and I found the most perfect recipe for Spinach and Artichoke Dip in an old cookbook and are proud to say it's better than any other recipe we've ever had :) It's a package of Cream Cheese, a package of frozen spinach & 2 cans of chopped artichoke hearts. (or you can use fresh ingredients, but I usually make it with those because it's super quick and easy!) I bake it to make it hot and brown the top and it's good to eat!

And I use Italian bread for dipping. I cut the loaf into little triangles, brush with olive oil and bake until crispy.
